Review of The Paradine Case (1947) by Joel H — 23 Sep 2018
The Paradine Case is a dry courtroom drama which, despite its subject matters, lacks passion or intrigue. Gregory Peck seems to have a difficult time emoting, and Alida Valli isn't as compelling as the film wishes her to be.
I don't think Hitchcock put his heart into this project.
