Review of The Paperboy (2012) by David Lincoln B — 01 Feb 2014
THE PAPERBOY is some stylish, muscular modern-filmmaking. Anyone who says it partakes of camp elements has never been to the Deep South, nor is likely familiar with these strata of society. Go-for-broke acting from an outstanding cast.
Style/decor elements are spot-on. All naysayer reviewers here will be astonished when CRITERION picks this one up as the stylish, artistic film it is.
