Review of The Paperboy (2012) by Tuukka P — 19 May 2014
Twisted thriller set in the late 60's Florida about a reporter trying to save a creepy death row inmate from the electric chair for a murder he has been convicted with very little proof. Lee Daniels likes his movies dark and creepy as shown here in his follow up to Precious.
The cast give brave performances in roles with very little sympathy factors and Daniels gives us an almost naturalistic look at the darker side of the deep south.
