Review of The Oxford Murders (2008) by Igor K — 23 May 2008
Interesting idea with the symbols and the mistery solving, but somehow it lacked the intensity of a real thriller. Much of the "exciting discoveries" are made on the intellectual level with the confortation of different theories, but somehow in the movie it didn't had the edge.
Also Elijah Wood was somehow odd choice for an American in a very british cast and scenery. He looked more like he is from London then from the Arizona desert. Not a bad movie but it could be much better.
