Review of The Oxford Murders (2008) by Purav M — 15 May 2010
This movie is not trying to teach u philosphy, that would be a sin, what it is trying to do is to show you easy deductions that some people could not ever get to know by themselves, and it does not mean that they are not going to be happy, it really would not matter.
The movie is good, but you have to be familiar with a bit of many of the famous philosophers to get it. The missed parts that nobody talks about would come to u automaticly. The problem of the movie is that it is directed to certain people who can watch it and understand it.
It does not mean that they are better than the ones those think that the movie is boring and piece of nothing, it just means that they have laerned different kind of "stuff". the acting and de direction? who cares if the plot ifself is worth it to hear.
