Review of The Oxford Murders (2008) by Mloy X — 23 Nov 2011
The plot surrounding the murder was intriguing but the subplots like the love-interest/love-triangle ditracted from the film. Other than Elijah Wood being a student, I really think that he was miscast from the role.
I mean, he's a talented actor, probably one of the most gifted in his class but he could not pull-off this role to save his life. I loved John Hurt but even his brilliant acting couldn't overshadow how poorly executed this film was.
