Review of The Oxford Murders (2008) by Tom H — 15 Jun 2012
The outcome of this movie is painfully obvious after the first ten minutes, and yet still the film insists it's smart and suspenseful. The actors don't seem to be in on the obviousness of it all, and not even Elijah Wood is enough to make this worthwhile.
If you're just looking for background noise, this might be okay. But there's absolutely no drama or suspense to speak of, and I doubt I'll remember seeing this within a few days.
