Review of The Oxford Murders (2008) by Jennie R — 28 Jan 2011
Murder, Math & Mystery. It contained all three but never really tied them together to make a lick of sense in this film. The film takes you along this whole equation of symbolism and mathematics tied to various murders.
At times, I was lost and then I would be pulled back in again. It was just enough to keep me from hitting the "stop" button. The ending comes throws a curve at me and I was through with this film.
All in all, it is trying to be complex and thought provoking but basically ends up annoying.
