Review of The Oxford Murders (2008) by Bob S — 18 May 2011
Unfortunatley I had high expectations due to the content. This was extremley dissapointing. Dealing with infinates and philosophical theroies the film tails off as it attempts to become a murder mystery with really no murder and no mystery.
I applaud Wood's attempt to play a genious whose obsession takes over but he sadly fails. Hurt is brilliant and Watling and Julie Cox add a nice supportive role. The script begins trying to be way to smart and could loose alot of the audience and then begins to tail off into rediculousness.
