Review of The Ox-Bow Incident (1943) by Vasu B — 15 Jun 2007
This is one of those movies where I saw the title and I was thinking to myself, this movie is going to be garbage. I was WAY off. although this takes place in the west, it's not exactly a western. more of a political film, like 12 angry men.
this movie makes you glad that we have the legal system we do have now in that we are innocent until proven guilty. the biggest moral in this movie is that we shouldn't jump to conclusions. I know it sounds very lame, but after seeing this movie, you can see why it is so important.
the acting is great from fonda, but so so fro meveryone else. it's extremely short and gets to the point quickly. not much of an investment to see a classic film. I highly recommend anyone to see this.
