Review of The Owl vs Bombo (1984) by Steve W — 22 Jun 2014

In this crazy comedy caper, two criminals are blackmailed into helping a community centre by a mysterious person who has dirt on them. The two quickly become partners, and have to inspire a class of down on their luck students in a career advising class, while trying to find out who is blackmailing them.

There's brief martial arts action at the end, but this movie has powerful character development with the underprivileged students to make up for the lack of action.
