Review of The Outsiders (1983) by Dante C — 24 Jan 2010
Simple yet Sophisticated. Coppola once again delivers a picture perfect narration of the turmoil In society. He takes us into the simplistic lives of the 1960s Greasers Pony Boy and Johnny. Yet he sophisticatedly connects the challenges of these orphans and hillbilly's to the larger theme of youth FIGHTING to find their place in the world.
The cinematography is suttle yet evident enough that when combined with a steller cast it forms one of the greatest motion picture experiances ever. But what else would you excpect from the Director of the Godfather trilogy?
