When I first saw this, I could see Eastwood could direct and star in a great western and here's one rebel who will fight back. Very sympathetic to the native Americans. Clint's dry sense of humor blends in very well here as he goes on his mission.
Chief Dan George is very good and Sondra Locke does just fine in her first Eastwood movie. This is my favorite one of his.
