I loved this movie! I was first attracted by the 'cover', as it had a very mystical feel to it, and I knew then that it would be the type of film that I like to watch.'The Otherworld' has a retro feel to it, but it was well-suited to the subject matter.
The filmography is very atmospheric, and the scenery beautiful. I loved the haunting soundtrack too. There are some great characters in it - most notably the wizard Gwydion, who looked like he'd escaped from Terry Pratchett's Discworld! Drawing on material from Irish and Welsh legends, this will have great appeal to those who have a pagan leaning or love fairies (or unicorns!).
