Not a bad remake, but it's pointless. This one literally personifies the word remake, because it's the exact same as the original. It's easy to see that they saw an opportunity to cash in with the unique date of 06/06/06, and they took it.
It's uninspiring and lacks the spirit of the original. Bleh.
