Review of The Omen (2006) by Robert M — 11 Feb 2015
It's the same script as the original...just an extra scene or two and a few changed lines, but it's the same thing. Why? This is cinematic laziness at its worst. It's like the Psycho remake in many ways.
There is nothing here that the original didn't do better (except for the impaling scene. That was actually pretty good.) And if your going to stick this close to the original and not use Jerry Goldsmith's score, then that's an automatic fail.
