I saw "I am Legend" first. I haven't read the book both of these movies are based on. I didn't like what I saw. First thing you cant miss is that this movie is made in early 70s. It doesnt mean that it isn't well made or effects suck only that everything looks very very 70s.
In book those "monsters" were vampires, in "I am Legend" practically zombies, in Omega Man they are religious cult of albino fanatics. And by fanatics I don't mean those raving types.
These are quite calm and opposite to leading man Charlton Heston. Sometimes even wondered which should get my sympathy which I believe was whole idea behind the book (again which I havent read).
