Review of The Omega Man (1971) by Morgan G — 14 May 2008
A brutal book adaptation. Charlton Heston plays the last man on Earth after a plague wipes out the rest of humanity. The book has influenced the likes of Stephen King and George A Romero. Why they didn't just copy the book is beyond me.
The movie gets rid of the vampires and replaces them with hippie albinos. Do yourself a favor and just read the book.
