This is one of the very first 'end-of-the-world' films I ever saw.
It is the definitive version of Richard Matheson's sci-fi book : I Am Legend.
I do not care what the critics say. For me, this will always be the trailblazer...the version that inspired the next two generations of apocalyptic film-makers who gave us such gems as Night Of The Living Dead & 28 Days Later.
And no-one has ever been a better Robert Neville than the legendary Charlton Heston.
