Review of The Odd Couple (1968) by Christine E — 26 May 2006
What a great classic! Neil Simon's screen adaptation is hilarious with Lemmon and Matthau at their bests! Matthau was particularly funny as Oscar, the slob. The film was quirky enough and some how managed to add a touch of drama near the end and it was almost touching.
Great cast, great writing, and great film.
