"ultra-hip, multilayered comedy" maybe when it came out, not so much now. The jokes are stale and dated and many of the wardrobe choices very questionable. This is however an adorable movie made watchable only by Paul Rudd and Nigel Hawthorne's performances.
Jennifer Aniston has not progressed past the character of Rachel.
