As lovely as Gretchen Mol is in this film, the real Bettie was prettier, and better looking tits. It's almost impossible to pull off docudrama of somebody that was one of a kind. Stylisticy is was a smate usage of b/w to color in spots.
The ending of her turning into my bible thumping Babtist grandmaw was a buzz kill.
