Review of The Ninth Gate (1999) by Audrius M — 24 Feb 2010
Not really my kind of film. I usually like Depp, but here I think even his performance is lackluster. The movie is not helped by the fact that it runs a little long. I thought that the middle of the film dragged on.
Not to mention that the ending just sucks. But all in all I guess this is the best movie about a rare book dealer who is hired to find out if a satanic book was really written by the devil. But that's not saying much.
