I really enjoyed watching this movie! The story is intensely charged, the dialogue sounds realistic and rather modern (especially for a movie made in 1964), and the cast is great! Richard Burton gives an impressive performance as a man grappling with his troubled past and the meaning of his life.
Deborah Kerr portrays her character with great dignity and eloquence. Ava Gardner adds a lot of energy and passion to her role.
