Review of The Nice Guys (2016) by Geedup — 08 Jul 2016

This movie based in the 70's is saved by the fact it is in the 70's. The story, although twisted, is not very unique and I'd say would be boring if this film weren't based in the 70's. So much great music during this time you'd think the soundtrack would put some spice into this stew.

But no. The humor is deadpan as Crowe plays the serious type and Gosling plays the idiot turned star detective. Together awkward but watchable.
