Review of The Nice Guys (2016) by Kamin — 20 May 2016

Second movie I walked out on this year. (It has been ten years before this year since I walked out on a bad movie.) The writing was horrible and barely had any plot. The jokes were hard to pick out and not funny.

No one in the audience laughed at any of them. So, I suspect it is not just me. It's amazing that there are many good reviews, especially for humor. There is absolutely nothing funny in this poorly-written script.

There is no entertainment value. I didn't care about any of the characters. Personal worst part for me as a Russell Crowe fan is how unhealthy and fat he has become. He looks sloppy in appearance outside the role of his character.

Sad to see such talent no longer making good movies lately.
