Review of The NeverEnding Story (1984) by Alexander Z — 23 Apr 2011

The Neverending Story is a simple but yet addictive fairy tale movie. I truly like the notion of Nothing and the way they managed to make it understandable for kids. But, to be frank, this movie is not as interesting as it was when I first watched it as a kid.

I think the ending of the movie wasn't great at all and I regret that the beginning of the movie felt flat (we never have any "true" explanations about Bastian's family). However, I must admit that the music is entertaining, that I love the narration and I particularly adore the idea of a book changing its story thanks to its reader.
