I know that this movie has its fans and I understand them. In itself it is not all bad except that its editing was rushed, since only half of the book was adapted, not to mention that some parts are very dark for children.
What I have no doubt is that Guillermo del Toro (and friends) or the geniuses of Studio Ghibli could improve it.
