The Neon Demon my favorite film of 2016. Beautiful, visual, metaphorical, storytelling with a creativity like I've never witnessed before. There are Subtle Nods to Argento's Classic, "Suspiria" In its lighting and atmosphere, but it delves so deep into the sea, it's almost difficult to want to come up for air.. Easily one of the most gorgeously shot films I've ever seen.

I wanted to drown myself in its horrifying Beauty, and sinister themes.... This isn't a dialogue filled Horror piece, it's artistic cinema at its finest, and it has more layers than many have seemed to grasp.

If you want a mindless film, stay home. If you want to become a piece of something as beautiful as it is disturbing, than the Neon Demon is your new heartbeat.

6 stars, because 5 is not enough. Also, the best Soundtrack I've ever heard! Flawless!
