Awesome movie, even if it didn't follow the book precisely, though if it had the movie would've been even longer. The acting was wonderful, though the transitions and entrance/exit of the characters from the storyline was somewhat abrupt compared to both the book and real life.
Overall it was a talented adaptation given all the strains the director had to weave to do the novel justice.
