Review of The Naked Prey (1965) by Ben U — 29 Jul 2008
Cornel Wilde runs for his life from a Zulu tribe in one of the greatest jungle survivalist tales ever committed to celluloid. Some scenes come across as more mondo movie than narrative, but the sense of awe at the wildlife and the camera's love of the barren landsacpe make this so so watchable.
I even found myself screaming at the screen during the first reel for our hero to run for it! A genuine bonafide classic.
