This is a pretty amazing film. The cinematography for one is really great and I really feel like Nicholas Roeg must have been very influenced by this film when he made Walkabout. The film really does a good job of stripping away man and getting right down to survival insticts which we all have.
Its a very brutal film for the time, and Wilde brilliantly usage wild animals as a way to thematically show our main character's struggle to survive. Good shit.
