Review of The Naked City (1948) by Chris H — 29 Feb 2012
A classic film noir crime drama that holds up surprisingly well. Barry Fitzgerald was a gas as the lead detective, but the true star of the film was New York City. The entire movie was shot on location, which more than anything helps keep it looking vital all these decades later.
