Review of The Musketeer (2001) by Erika R — 16 Jun 2008
The only reason I give this movie 4 stars is because it doesn't have an extremely engrossing story line. The dialogue seems dry at times and the film seems to sag occasionally. The action is superb however and is probably the greatest swordplay film ever made, and that is more than enough reason to see it.
The film also has a few good cinematic feats, but again all of these revolve around the action. A martial arts film with swordplay and Frenchmen, in short.
