Review of The Music Man (1962) by Scott S — 07 Jun 2009
The Music Man (1962) -- [6.0] -- The unique song style and colorful characters are enough to give 'The Music Man' a passing grade. Robert Preston and Shirley Jones have charisma to spare, though their relationship is overly-contrived, even by the genre's standards.
Hermione Gingold, Paul Ford, and young Ron Howard are memorable in supporting roles.
