Review of The Mummy's Tomb (1942) by Corey B — 30 Jul 2009
Kharis is now clearly in B-movie territory (if there was any doubt before). It's hard not to notice since the film opens with 11 minutes of stock footage recounting the first film. Goes in a cool direction though and it is great to see the actors from the first film playing older versions of themselves.
This is especially true for Dick Foran who rarely gets to show such diversity. Turhan Bey is a welcome new addition as the priest who follows in Zucco's footsteps.
