Review of The Mummy's Tomb (1942) by Jak-Luke S — 23 Jul 2017
Once again the production design and make-up is fantastic, Chaney is excellent as the titular character but many will have issue with the setting changed to America, which I wasn't exactly impressed with but did bring another dynamic to the overall picture.
The connective tissue to the its predecessor is welcoming and adds great depth, then again it tells the story of said film within the first 10 minutes. The climax is ripped straight out from The Bride of Frankenstein and rather annoying with the grand scheme of the franchise.
