Review of The Mouse That Roared (1959) by Catherine C — 03 Jun 2007
I love Peter Sellers in this delightful movie, in which the country of Grand Fenwick declares war on the US for allowing California to produce a wine exactly like the kind Grand Fenwick provides the US, which is its main source of income.
Amusing when the pathetic army invades NYC during an air raid drill and steals an atomic bomb, forcing the US to negotiate with this almost unheard of country. Of course there's a little love story, an evil villian, and a lots of vaudeville-like action.
It brings a good laugh, and the bomb is really cute.
