The film lacked tension. The script could have been better. The actors, I think, mostly did their best. There was a tangible layer of disbelief. You could feel they were acting. Idris Elba was better in the part than Kate Winslet.

I think Kate was miscast. Also, at a point in the middle of the film, Idris's character, Ben, yels out, "Kate." The name of her character was Alex. My son viewed the film with me. He said, "See? Nobody could bear to watch it once it was made.

" Ha-ha. He almost walked out.
