Review of The Mountain Between Us (2017) by K M — 05 Oct 2017

Could not wait for this to end. Let me list the issues briefly:

1. No Chemistry in this love story cum The Edge.

2. Her performance was of a 1960'd demsel in distress that does not match the way she tries to come across nor her character back story..

3. In extreme weather in the cold, but sitting 3 feet from fires, under dressed and obviously never cold. A ovie made by people who are never really cold.

4. No real action and very little good dialogue, ever.

5. Just drawn out and contrived scenes strung together into some semblance of a poor plot.

6. A boring "action-survival" that was boring for 2/3rd and turned into a predictable boring love story for the hair tearing third...:

7. She should be embarrassed by her acting and while he is much better in general, and in the movie than her; he should be embarrassed to be in it at all..

8. Grown adults that act like they are 19 and their behaviors are as though the story was written by a 16 year old explaining how he thinks grown ups think and act.

While trying to give this a chance; I was ready to leave after the first idiotic stop to rest in a cave. Save you money to rent a comparatively good movie like League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. This movie is a perfect example of why Hollywood is so down hill. The adults appear to have left that building.
