Exquisitely shot survival drama and an unexpectedly superb love story. Top notch performances from the two leads (and the dog!) There's talk of "lack of chemistry" but this is the whole point.

These are two people who have nothing in common yet are bound together by experience. With somewhat low expectations going in (considering the decidely average reviews) I was surprised to be so engaged in this.

By the time the credits rolled, I was weeping and cheering like an utter loon.
