Film #2 of 70. Not many people A) like this film or B) have even watched it. Its eerie and emotional and well worth spending the time, especially if you have a penchant for the supernatural and unexplainable.
How many movies starring Richard Gere would you say you enjoyed, not many I'm guessing, but in The Mothman Prophecies you have a very good chance of watching your favourite Gere film. Based on a book released in the 70s by a conspiracy theorist nut job, this plays out a lot differently to the rantings originating from the book.
Its spooky, well crafted and when you finally see the "Mothman" himself, Indrid Cold, you'll get the ooks. Laura Linney and Will Patton are as always solid in their roles. This film is in my top 20 of all time.
