Review of The Most Dangerous Game (1932) by Marc L — 09 Jan 2010
This movie is a huge pile of the shlockiest cheese imaginable, yet it's just so damn entertaining that you can overlook the plot-hole riddled slice of Swiss cheese that is called a plot.
The two men who brought you the original King Kong are back with the first adaptation of the famous short story of the same name. That's not all they brought; Fay Wray is as gorgeous as ever (she's a babe) and you can even spot a few set pieces used in King Kong, most notably the huge knocked over tree that provides a bridge that the hunters escape on when being chased by the t-rex (I think? It's been a while since I've seen Kong).
By no means is it a perfect movie, but it does deliver some iconic lines of dialogue, and you can watch it on instant Netflix, and it's short as fuck, so why not?
