With a fascinating story written as a book by Cassandra Clare, a fine script full of okay dialogue, a great cast headed by Lily Collins, Jaime Campbell Bower, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Kevin Durand and Lena Headey, fascinating directing by Harald Zwart, exciting scenes and sequences and a perfect pace and flow, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is fun and action-packed thanks to its fleshed out characters and wonderful story structure.
