Review of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013) by Timone — 22 Apr 2019
This is almost like the Twilight films and the other films that has everything to do with vampires and werewolves but this has nothing to do with vampires at all. It has something to do with not just werewolves but it does have some, it has demons and shadowhunters are out to kill them.
When Clary Fray played by Lily Collins begins seeing a strange symbol, her mother has been kidnapped and she joins with Jace Wayland played by Jamie Campbell Bower who killed a man who turns out to be a demon.
She comes across a demon dog and it turns out that Valentine Morgenstern has the possession of the cup to control all Shadowhunters and demons. Yeah, the opening is really rushed when her mother is being kidnapped and the acting in this film is not that good.
It looks like it's been cliched but I don't wanna talk about it. I'm not a huge fan. The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones is a disappointing fantasy action film. Surely there are many fantasy films I like but this, this one just doesn't appeal to me on any level.
