Review of The Misfits (1961) by Mark P — 19 Feb 2008
A film that put the first real nail in the western's coffin; all about the end of the west. gable works so well because he is still handsome but obviously past his prime; this works wonderfully for his character.
marilyn is as jaw-dropping as she ever was. I believe this was their last film. unfortunate, but they went out with a classic important story. plus, the band took their name from the title so that's awesome.
