Review of The Miracle Worker (1962) by Anna L — 25 Aug 2010
Something about this movie moves me. I had to watch it in school..i can't remember which grade tho. I really enjoyed getting to see it again. The acting is AMAZING! esp. by Anne Bancroft & Patty Duke.
.just WOW. I find the story & life of Helen Keller VERY interesting..it's just..astonishing how smart she was & so capable of learning. I couldn't even imagine what it would be like to be blind, deaf, & mute.
The relationship between Helen & Annie Sullivan is quite moving..they really understand each other. The only thing I found a little odd in the film is when Annie was having her flashbacks about her little brother.
I think that it could have been done differently so it was easier to understand. Overall, this film is a must see. It's just an amazing true story that will touch your heart.
