Not a particularly good film, but it has potential written all over it. The ideas are interesting and the execution is almost intriguing, but it fails to deliver much of an excuse or rationale or explanation for much of the plot or actions.
The ending is fun and gets close to good, but again doesnt explain enough to be a good ending. I feel like Hellraiser leaves a lot unsaid, but it delivers in so much else, you dont care, here you get too much of the unimportant (unnecessary slaughter scenes) and not enough substance and believable developments.
I enjoyed myself though.
