Review of The Messenger (2009) by Morten P — 03 Jun 2010
This movie made me sad. But it was well done and acted. I love Woody more and more. Ben Foster was excellent in his role. It really did well painting as realistic a picture as possible. THe characters were flawed and the pain varied.
It wasn't surprising or unexpected, but sometimes it can be refreshing to watch a movie like that. Made me feel real emotion. I always say I hate crying. I also think I could do a job like that. However, when I see other people cry, I usually cry, even if I don't like the person.
It infuriates me. Or maybe I just pretend I don't like crying, who knows. But what can I say. Solid acting and a well done film.
