Review of The Meg (2018) by Private U — 16 Aug 2018
It's best not to even try to compare this films to "Jaws", its simply not a fair comparison. As a popcorn film it has its moments, but as a popcorn film you have to expect weak plot points and cardboard copy characters.
The CGI effects are impressive at times but I almost felt that the shark's size changed at times. The ending was horrible and a low point but there is enough fun to say you should see it at the theater.
